Is a California resident housing rental agreement acceptable as proof of residence due to Drivers License is out of state?

    Hi, Grace Marie!

Thanks for bringing your Disneyland Resort question to planDisney. I’m glad to hear you’re thinking of planning a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

It sounds like you’re aware that only California residents can enter the theme parks at this time. If you’re a current resident, you’re welcome to purchase tickets and make theme park reservations to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. First of all, please ensure that your contact information, especially your home address here in California, is up-to-date in your Disney account. When you make the reservation, you’ll also be asked to confirm that you and everyone in your party are in-state residents.

Cast Members at the theme park entrance gates may require you to present identification to show proof of California residency, so if you don’t have a California photo ID, I suggest you bring along the paper copy issued by the DMV if you have one and a current utility bill that shows your California home address. The name on the bill must match the name on your identification card.

I hope this helps and that you enjoy a practically perfect theme park visit, Grace Marie!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
