    Hiya, Avin!

Ooh! You’re so fortunate. As an out-of-state visitor to the Disneyland Resort, I think it’s great that Californians are offered such great deals from time to time.

As you are aware, Guests must present proof of eligibility to use the California resident ticket offer at the Disneyland Resort. This must be in the form of a valid government-issued photo ID that includes the Guest’s current address within ZIP codes 90000 to 96199. If you haven’t already, I recommend stopping by an office of the State of California Department of Motor Vehicles to apply for a driver’s license or state ID card that shows your new address. My understanding is that residents who have recently applied for a new or renewed photo ID may use the temporary ID issued by the DMV.

If you haven’t already applied for your updated ID and won’t have a chance to stop by the DMV before your upcoming visit to the Disneyland Resort, hakuna matata! It means no worries. If you need to upgrade to a non-promotional theme park ticket, you may stop by one of the main entrance ticket booths. You can upgrade to another currently offered ticket type of equal or greater value than your current ticket. The amount you have already paid toward your ticket will be applied toward the cost of the new ticket.

Should you upgrade to a new ticket type, be sure to note the differences in valid dates for each ticket type and update theme park reservations accordingly. Specifically, the current California resident tickets may be used any three days until the offer expires on September 28, 2023, and non-promotional tickets usually must be used within 13 days after the first day or use or before the ticket expiration, whichever comes first.

I hope things work out for your visit to the Disneyland Resort, Avin. Things are looking exciting at The Happiest Place on Earth. You’ll be visiting during one of my favorite seasons of transformation at the Disneyland Resort: Halloween Time! And I hope you’re excited to experience the new San Fransokyo Square, where you can meet Baymax, enjoy new foods, and find inspiration from the amazing Big Hero 6 team.

    Have a magical time!
