going to California from Oct 28th to Nov 4th 2024 I’m planning to visit Disneyland Park for 1 day. due to Halloween, what day would you recommend visiting? Will they have short hours of operation due to Halloween party? What days do they have fireworks? TY!

Hi Nathalie! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

The schedule for Oogie Boogie Bash - A Disney Halloween Party hasn't yet been released, nor is the Entertainment schedule for October with details like fireworks available quite yet. Hopefully, we get the party night dates soon. The fireworks schedules aren't published on the Daily Events Schedule until a few weeks out, so you'll have to wait for those. Do be aware that they're subject to cancelation without advance notice.

Typically, the parties only go through Halloween itself. That might change! I can't predict without Madame Leota's crystal ball. But on nights when there is a party, Disney California Adventure Park will close early to Guests without a party ticket. Disneyland Park doesn't host Oogie Boogie Bash, so you can either select Disneyland Park for your theme park reservation to get a full park day or with Park Hopper, hop to Disneyland Park when Disney California Adventure Park closes for the party.

There is a third option, which might be the best one of all. Buy a party ticket! The specially ticketed events are a lot of fun. I highly recommend them! It's a fun way to celebrate the season and get in the spirit with a costume. And course, there's plenty of candy.

    Boo to you!
