    Christina from AZ Asked

Our California family is inviting us to Disneyland with them. Can they buy us the socal Disney tickets so we can go together?

    Hi Christina!

Welcome to planDisney! We're so glad that you found us hEAR. Oh Boy! How exciting that you'll be sharing the magic of a Disneyland Resort vacation with family members so soon! Make sure to pick up some complimentary 'I'm Celebrating' buttons from your Disneyland Resort Hotel, City Hall, or a Disney shop or dining location. The celebration being that you're all together again!

The Southern California resident promotional tickets are only able to be purchased and used by those who reside in the zip codes of 90000 through 93599. (Baja California residents in zip codes 21000 - 22999 are also included.) ID validation will be conducted upon first use of these tickets. However, if your family members have already purchased these tickets for you and your crew, you will be able to apply the value already spent towards new tickets at the ticket booths in The Esplanade upon your arrival. (Sadly ticket upgrades like this are currently not able to be made online, in the mobile app, or over the phone.)

Are you ready to return to the magic of Mickey's original house, Christina? I love how Disneyland Resort is now such a mix of classic attractions loved for generations paired with epic, out-of-this-world adventures in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and the brand new Avengers Campus. And while I hope that your party has already made or is starting to think about your dining options, make sure to save some room because your visit is during the wonderful and festive Lunar New Year Celebration, complete with festival marketplaces, at Disney's California Adventure Park.

I hope this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney days, Christina! And if you have any more Disneyland Resort planning questions We're All Ears!
