Hi there Amber!
Thanks for bringing your wonderful questions to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you to experience the magic of the Disneyland Resort. When you
purchase your multi-day theme park tickets, they must be used within 13 days of their first use or by January 13, 2020, whichever occurs first. This means you are more than welcome to spend a day at the theme parks, take a day (or a few days) to relax, and return back. If you choose a Park Hopper Ticket, you can freely visit both parks as often as you'd like on either day. With a One Park Per Day Ticket, you will have to choose either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park for each separate day of your ticket. I think extending your vacation by taking a break between park days is a magnificent idea. You can really enjoy the benefits of your
Disneyland Resort Hotel like the amazing pools, dining, and recreational activities offered. A rest day is also a wonderful time to explore the
Downtown Disney District and its newest shopping and dining destinations.
To answer your question about what you are allowed to bring into the park, snacks and water are permitted. Keep in mind you will have your bags searched at a security checkpoint before entering the Resort. You can read online a
list of prohibited items as well as the park rules. We often bring water or juice for my son as well as some small snacks such as granola bars or fruit.
I hope this was helpful, and feel free to return if you have any further questions. Have a Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah day!
