Hi, Kim!
You and your little ones are going to have a great time at the Disneyland Resort during
Halloween Time. There's so much spooky fun in the theme parks now, like fall-inspired food, decor, attractions and entertainment! It’s one of my favorite times of year to explore the resort, so I'm glad to hear you'll be heading there soon!
Disneyland Park will close early to the public to host Mickey’s Halloween Party at 6:00 p.m. on October 31, at which time Guests who don’t have party tickets leave the park. However, there will still be plenty of theme park thrills and chills for you to enjoy in Disney California Adventure Park, which will remain open for regular operating hours. Be sure to check out Cars Land, which is all decked out for the spooky season. I bet your kids will love the specially-themed attractions in “Radiator Screams,” like Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween! Children under the age of 14 are welcome to wear costumes to the theme parks whenever they wish, including Halloween.
I’m not aware of any official trick-or-treat stations in Disney California Adventure Park. However, if you’re a registered Guest at one of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels, your little ones can take part in complimentary trick-or-treating festivities on select afternoons now through October 31. Visit the Guest Services desk at your hotel for a treat map of locations so you can visit all three hotels to score some fun treats!
I hope this helps you plan, Kim, and that you enjoy many boo-to-you thrills at the Happiest Place on Earth with your kiddos! Please feel free to write back with more questions as your spooktacular trip approaches.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
