The Magic is back! It’s so exciting to have
Magic Key Passes for visiting the Happiest Place on Earth! This new reservation based program is perfect for those who want to visit frequently. There are four options available and even one for Southern California residents. Magic Key Passes are not only good for admission but also come with special perks like discounts on dining and merchandise, access to the Magic Key Lounge and more! If you purchase within the first 66 days of the release, you get a special gift that includes a pin, magnet, lanyard and more. You’ll be walking down Main Street, U.S.A. in no time!
As you mentioned, Magic Key Passes are valid for one year. After you purchase your pass, you will have one year to activate it. Your Magic Key Pass becomes active once you make a theme park reservation and actually enter Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. Your pass could also become active if you use the parking feature for the full parking value into a pay on entry lot. Using the pass for a discount on parking will not activate the pass. Once your pass is activated you have one year to use it unless you renew for another year.
