is there a calendar that shows the busiest days in each park?

Welcome to planDisney Raymond! When planning visits to the Walt Disney World Resort, we’d all like to go at a time that won’t feel quite so crowded! While there isn’t necessarily a calendar that shows “crowd size” there are a few pieces of advice that I can offer.

Theme park ticket prices vary based upon attendance. Tickets are priced higher at busier times of the year. Tickets are priced lower at times when the parks are not usually as busy. So, when you look to purchase your tickets you can determine crowd size based upon ticket prices.

Another good rule to follow is to understand that when schools are typically out of session, the crowds are much higher. Examples of this are summer months (ending late August), Christmas break, Easter break, spring break, holidays such as Presidents Day, etc. Traditionally, times of the year with the lowest crowds are late August through September and just after the winter holidays wrap up!

The brand new Disney Genie service will also be helpful in navigating crowds! Disney Genie will launch later this month as a complimentary service that will offer customized tips to Guests! Included with this service will be notifications as to when a particular ride or attraction might be experiencing a shorter than normal wait time!

Raymond, there are also some big fans of the Disney Parks who have practically made a science out of predicting crowd sizes! You can find their work by doing an internet search. Try not to get too “into the weeds” as there are a lot of theories out there!

I hope this is helpful information as you continue your planning! Come back to visit any time!
