Is there a calendar with peak resort pricing somewhere?

    Hey howdy hey, Michelle!

Big warm hugs to a fellow New Englander!  Thank you for bringing your question by planDisney.  It sounds like you are looking to stay at one of the magical Disney Resort Collection Hotels, and I am so excited that you will be immersed in that legendary Disney magic.  We love all of the added pixie dust that comes with staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, from the unique theming that whisks you away to the great wide somewhere to the complimentary Resort transportation to Early Theme Park Entry - just to name a few. It adds a whole new world to your Disney vacation.

Michelle, there isn't one Resort calendar with peak pricing for all of the Disney Resort Hotels. But I can share a thingamabob or two that may help you.  Generally speaking, you can expect Resort prices to be higher during peak visiting seasons. This is typically around most holidays, including bank holidays like President's Day or Memorial Day in the United States, Easter, Christmas, Halloween, etc.  You may also find Walt Disney World Resort to have more visitors at this time as well, which is definitely when we take advantage of the Disney Genie+ Lightning Lane and Individual Lightning Lane passes to ensure we get on an attraction or two that we have our hearts set on.

However, there is an option where you can see a particular Resort's pricing calendar which can be very helpful to give you a view of the peak pricing for that Resort.  I will also point out that Walt Disney World has Value, Moderate, and Deluxe Resorts, as well as Deluxe Villas. So the pricing will vary greatly depending on the Resort you choose, the room size, and the view you select.  To find a Resort's pricing calendar, follow these steps:
    • Log into your My Disney Experience Account.
    • Select the "Places To Stay" link.
    • Create your search. You can either create a general Resort search or select a specific Resort and do an availability search from there.
    • If there is availability, a rate will show next to the room type.  Under the rate, click the small "Rate Details" link.  This will bring up a pop-up.
    • From the pop-up, there is another small link for a "Rate Calendar," where you will see the rate for that room every day of the year (that has been posted to date.)

One other place to look is Walt Disney World Resort's current offers page.  Often there are discounts for Resort stays, including several running this spring through early summer.  Knowing this information might also help you decide on your dream Resort.

I hope this has been helpful to you, Michelle. If you have any more Disney vacation planning questions, please stop back and see me here at planDisney. Remember, you've got a friend in me!

    See ya real soon!
