Hi there, Alma, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your October visit to the Disneyland Resort will be here before you know it, and I’m excited to help you start making plans!
I’m glad you brought your question here, because I have been wondering this exact same thing. So, I called Disney Dining to check in, and a Cast Member informed me that
park hours haven’t been set yet for the entire month of October, so that’s why we aren’t seeing any availability for breakfast or dinner reservations yet. Since you’re within your 60-day
dining reservation window, I understand how frustrating this can be. I recommend
checking online daily, or calling Disney Dining at (714) 781-3463 (DINE) for additional assistance.
I did notice, however, that you can still make dining reservations at any of the
Downtown Disney District dining locations, or any of the restaurants in the
Disneyland Resort hotels. I checked your arrival date of October 15, 2019, and saw plenty of breakfast slots open for those restaurants, in case you’re interested in them. Otherwise, if you'd prefer to eat breakfast at Minnie & Friends -- Breakfast in the Park at
Plaza Inn, I recommend waiting for the in-park restaurant reservations to open up, hopefully soon!
Since you’re visiting the Happiest Place on Earth during
Halloween Time, get ready for some mischievous mayhem!
Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party is taking place on your arrival date, so Disney California Adventure Park will be closing early for Guests with regular admission, unless you have a
ticket for the Bash. If you are attending the Bash and hoping to eat dinner at a restaurant in Disney California Adventure Park that night, keep in mind that table-service restaurants won’t be available for dinner reservations. However,
quick-service dining locations will still be available, as will
Carthay Circle Lounge.
I hope this helps. Please stop by with any additional planning questions you may have… I’m all EARs!
