Hello Michael! Welcome to planDisney, where my pals and I are here to help.
I understand that planning a vacation can come with a certain amount of well.. uncertainty. Plans can change, and it might be necessary to cancel or change your vacation plans. While that's no fun to think about, I'd be happy to share an overview of Disney Cruise Line's Cancellation Policy. Please read the full
terms and conditions at
this link.
To begin, It is important to note that if you booked a reservation with restrictions, these specific bookings are nonrefundable. The booking terms for restricted reservations clearly state that these cruise fares are non-refundable, and the full payment must be paid at the time of booking. For sailings that are five nights or less (excluding suites and concierge staterooms), your deposit will be refunded if you cancel at least 90 days before the vacation commencement date. If you cancel less than 90 days before the cruise, the cancelation fee ranges from the initial deposit to the full cruise price, depending on when you cancel. The fee increases as you get closer to the sailing date. For sailings of six nights or more (excluding suites and concierge staterooms), you must cancel at least 120 days prior to the vacation commencement date to receive a refund on your deposit. For suite and concierge stateroom reservations, the deposit is non-refundable.
In most circumstances, you can cancel your reservation online by signing into your
Disney account and selecting the reservation you would like to cancel. Choose the "Modify Reservation" option to cancel or make changes to your reservation. If you used a travel agent to handle your booking, they will need to cancel your reservation on your behalf. If you'd prefer to make changes over the phone, please
give Disney Cruise Line a call, and the friendly agents will assist you.
Michael, I hope you feel prepared for your future vacation plans. If you have additional questions, please return to planDisney and ask. We'll be happy to help!
