Hey Mary Jo!
A warm welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is a real treat to have you visit us with your question about
bringing dogs to Walt Disney World Resort hotels.
As of October 2017, some of our favorite four-legged friends are welcome at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. No, I’m not talking about Pluto— I'm talking about our family dogs!
As part of the new dog-friendly initiative,
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort now welcome a maximum of two dogs per Guest room. The per night/per room pet-cleaning rate at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is $50 per night. Each Guest room has easy access to outdoor walkways where your special pooch can exercise and green spaces equipped with pet relief areas.
You will also find plenty of Disney amenities for your canine companion, such as:
• Pluto’s Welcome Kit which includes a collection of dog-friendly items. You will receive this upon checking in to The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort.
• A partnership with Best Friends Pet Care, an on-property full-service facility that can provide assistance with pet daycare and services (additional fees apply).
• Cute pet merchandise at select Disney Resort hotels.
Mary Jo, you can update your reservation by dialing 407-W-DISNEY, 407-934-7639.
I hope I have helped answer your question. If you have any additional questions, you are welcome to return to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are all EARS!
Wishing you a Paw-Tastic Vacation,
Priscila
