    Are all the cabins at Fort Wilderness remodeled now? We are staying for the first time around Thanksgiving and all the tips say ask for remodeled one. also golf cart rental ahead of time? Are the hearing accessible cabins in a certain area?

    Hi Tina! The great news is that all of the Fort Wilderness Cabins have now been refurbished. The addition of a new queen sofa bed in the living area, a queen bed in the bedroom, new flat screen Tv in the living area, and a totally redesigned new kitchen make these cabins a great choice for lodging during a Walt Disney World vacation. There will not be a need to request one that is refurbished anymore.

    Many guests do enjoy renting a Golf cart for their stay. Fort Wilderness is a large resort and although they have a wonderful internal bus system it is a lot of fun taking a golf cart from place to place and exploring the different loops especially during holidays when guests decorate their sites. It is an additional cost and would recommend you reserve one as soon as possible if you plan on using one.

    There is one loop that is reserved for those who need handicap access and handicap showers. Other then that I was not able to determine if hearing accessible cabins are in that loop as well.
