At the Cabins at Fort Wilderness I know there is a full kitchen but we were wondering what is included in the kitchen...ie. plates, bowls, utensils.

Hi Kathy!  You will love the newly refurbished Fort Wilderness cabins. The kitchen is completely different and you will find all new appliances.

There is a large refrigerator, a microwave/convection oven, and dishwasher. In the cupboards you will find plates, bowls, glassware, and mugs. There will be a full set of flatware as well as the essential cooking utensils. You will find some cookware as well as a toaster and coffee maker. I have found that the best listing of what is included is at the allears.net site. She has a great list of every item in the kitchen although from time to time you might have to request from housekeeping something that has walked away.

Don't forget each cabin will come with an outdoor grill on the site. If you need charcoal and other grilling supplies they can be found at the main Trading Post. There is a picnic table on your deck so whether you wish to eat indoors or out there is a place for this to happen.

Have an awesome time at the Fort Wilderness Resort....it is truly one of my favorites!
