Would the cabins at Fort Wilderness be a good choice, we have eight adults and three children ages 7,5 and 4

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James!

Planning a large family vacation can seem like a lot to take on at once, so the best way to do it is to start at the beginning and take it one step at a time. I think you're being very smart by starting with a little research into Walt Disney World Resort Hotels. I always kick-off the trip planning process by booking my Resort Hotel, so let's take a look at what kind of accommodations you can expect for your large party of 11 people.

I think that Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is a great choice for a large group with young kids. There is plenty to do, like wagon rides, outdoor recreation activities like archery, canoeing and kayaking, and even Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long! The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort have room for up to six adults in total with a queen bed and bunk beds together in a separate bedroom as well as a double-size sleeper sofa in the living room area. Since the cabins can sleep up to six people, you would need to reserve two to accommodate your group.

If all 11 of you want to stay together in the same room, you still have a few options to consider. There are some Resort Hotels that have Three-Bedroom Grand Villas that can sleep up to 12 adults and include all the comforts of home like a full kitchen, a large bathtub, and a washer and dryer! Some of the most popular Resort Hotels have these large rooms in them, like Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, and Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort, so take a look at what's available and see if any of them might work well for your group!

    Have a magical day, James!
