Hi Randy! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with this great question! I'm excited to hear about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. There is nothing better than staying in one of the Disney Resorts Collection properties, including one of the recently remodeled
Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.
While plenty of perks and benefits come with your resort reservation, complimentary breakfast will not be one of them. There is a fantastic dining location,
Trails End Restaurant, that serves breakfast beginning at 7:30 AM (times are subject to change) and offers classic American fare. There are a variety of egg-based dishes along with the ever-so-popular Mickey Waffles. This is a Quick-Service location, so there is no need to make an Advanced Dining Reservation. Simply pop over during the hours they are serving breakfast and enjoy a delicious meal to start your day.
If you want to try one of my absolute favorite dining spots at Walt Disney World, take a trip over to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort at some point throughout your stay.
Kona Cafe is a must-visit for us each time and offers some creative choices. They are well known for their Tonga Toast, although the Macadamia Nut Pancakes are at the top of my list. They are topped with a combination of macadamia nut butter and fresh pineapple that pairs perfectly together. I suggest making a reservation ahead of time to secure a time to try this place out!
Randy, I hope you have a great time during your stay!
