Hiya Christine,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your resort question! My family and I absolutely love staying at
Disney Resorts because there is just something so magical about being fully immersed in the Disney bubble. From
Early Theme Park Entry and complimentary Disney
transportation to relaxing with
Movies Under the Stars after a fun-filled park day, there is just no better way.
Now let’s jump right into your question!
The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are considered Deluxe Villas and are part of Disney Vacation Club. Even if you are not a Disney Vacation Club Member, you can still book a stay there by selecting the
Deluxe Villa category under the “Places to Stay” section on the Disney website.
My family and I recently stayed at the cabins, and it honestly felt like stepping into a peaceful retreat right in the middle of Disney magic. Between the pine trees, deer running around, and the cozy cabin vibes, it felt like a perfect mix of luxury camping and Disney comfort. One of my favorite details was finding the mason jar cups already waiting inside the cabin kitchen. We used those for every single drink.
If you are staying there, I highly recommend renting a
golf cart! While it is not required, we found it made getting around so much easier and added so much fun to the experience. We even decorated our golf cart and put lights on its. It was so much fun to see all of the decorated carts!
Another must-do is the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. My family had the best time there, and it became even more magical when my husband was invited on stage to join the performers. My girls still laugh and mimic all of his dance moves to this day!
Christine, I hope this helps answer your question. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to stop by and visit us again!
See you real soon,
Christina
