Howdy, Erin!
Have you been to Disney's Wilderness Lodge since
Copper Creek Villas & Cabins have been added to the resort? My family stayed there over Spring Break this past March and we were very pleased with the new additions. Staying in one of the Cascade Cabins is definitely at the top of my Disney bucket list. They are gorgeous!
There are still many great viewing locations for the
Electrical Water Pageant at Disney's Wilderness Lodge. With the removal of some of the tallest trees along Bay Lake, Guests now have a better view from the lakeside rooms and villas in the main lodge and at
Boulder Ridge Villas. When we stayed in a poolside 1-bedroom villa at Copper Creek Villas (which occupy the right side of the main lodge when you enter the lobby), we had an amazing view of the Electrical Water Pageant from our balcony. The music was piped into the courtyard and we enjoyed seeing the display several nights during our stay.
If you don't have a room with a view of Bay Lake, no problem! You can also catch the Electrical Water Pageant from the dock where you board boats to Magic Kingdom Park or from the lovely paved area between
Geyser Point Bar & Grill and Bay Lake. You don't have to enter the restaurant to watch the display from that area, but I'd probably order a Whippersnapper Sour to enjoy while the Electrical Water Pageant glides by. Finally, there's a lovely public patio facing the lake on the second floor off the main lobby that offers a great view.
Best wishes,
Jill
