Hello there, Lori! Welcome to planDisney. I'm happy you sailed to us with your question.
Choosing the type and location of your stateroom can be a big decision, and many folks have their preferences about their favorite deck or whether they prefer to be forward, midship, or aft. I've experienced staterooms on each class of ship in a variety of locations and have always been happy.
The staterooms across from elevators will experience more foot traffic, so there is a potential for more noise. However, the staterooms are designed in a way to reduce noise and make it as comfortable as possible for the guests. I like the convenience of being near an elevator or stairwell, and the potential for a little more noise does not deter me from staying in staterooms close to the elevator.
I hope that my experience onboard helps you feel more comfortable in your stateroom location. Wherever you are on the ship, you'll just be steps away from world-class
entertainment, delicious
dining, and an array of
fun activities.
Please be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before heading out on your adventure. Once you are on your Disney Cruise ship, the app will display all the information you need throughout your sailing. You'll see your
dining rotation, table number, menus, the hours of operation for all the spaces onboard, and the Daily Activity Schedule. If you'd like to be notified when your favorite activities are about to begin, click the heart icon next to any listings of interest. If you have notifications turned on, you'll receive a reminder about 15 minutes before the activity is set to begin. I don't want you to miss out on one second of fun!
Have an amazing sailing, and please sail back to planDisney any time. We'll be here for you!
Happy Planning,
Adrianna
