Anchors aweigh, Anya! I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question.
Anya, as a fellow resident of the Northeast, when the temperatures plummet and the daylight shortens, my dreams turn to the Caribbean. Relaxing in a cabana on
Disney Castaway Cay sounds like pure Magic! This island is sprinkled with pixie dust from the sand to the sun!
Now, Anya, cabanas technically are considered in
the port adventure category, so those can be secured the same way you would reserve any other port adventure. Guests who are sailing Concierge and Platinum Castaway Club Members can book these 120 days before their sail date and then other guests can book in the following order:
- Gold Castaway Club Members: 105 days prior to sail date
- Silver Castaway Club Members: 90 days prior to sail date
- First-Time Guests: 75 days prior to sail date
As you can imagine, these are more popular than a second pair of Cinderella's glass slippers and are often unavailable for first-time guests. While I can't guarantee availability, I have two recommendations to increase your chances of booking. First, make sure that your cruise payment is up-to-date before your booking window opens, and then log on at the stroke of midnight based on your
Castaway Club status to search for a cabana. Second, if you haven't been able to pre-book a cabana, stop by the
Guest Services Desk when you board to add your name to the waitlist in case any last-minute cancellations happen.
Anya, I'll be wishing on a star that you are able to book a cabana to create a fairytale day at Disney Castaway Cay. If you have any other questions, I hope you'll come on back to your new pirate crew here at planDisney.
