Hi there Tammy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It looks like your vacation to the Most Magical Place on Earth is just about here, and I’d be happy to help you finalize those last minute details.
I’m so excited to hEAR that you’ll soon be a guest at
Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. I recently had the opportunity to visit this resort, and I was impressed by the spacious family suites and uniquely themed public areas. My children would absolutely love to stay in the
Finding Nemo suites, and a vacation here is definitely in our future. Now that the
Disney Skyliner makes a stop at this resort, getting to and from the theme parks will be extra magical.
Tammy, my family and I have been enjoying Disney+ so much since its debut last fall. Have you had the chance to watch the
Imagineering Story? It’s our favorite! If your family is anything like mine, winding down at the end of a busy day with a show helps us relax and get ready for bed.
At this time, the televisions at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort are not equipped with streaming services like Disney+. Currently, only
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and
Disney’s Riviera Resort have televisions capable of linking to and streaming music and video from your personal electronic devices. Recently, I was able to stream Disney+ from my iPad to the Smart TV in my room in the Gran Destino Tower at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort, and it was a very cool experience.
If you would like to watch Disney+ from the comfort of your resort room, I recommend downloading the Disney+ app to a phone or tablet and viewing from there. Otherwise, your family is welcome to enjoy a variety of programs on your in-room television, including my favorite – Must Do Disney!
I hope this helps as you iron out a few last minute items before you embark on your Walt Disney World adventure. Have a magical time with Lightening McQueen, Nemo, Crush, Simba, and more of your favorite Disney friends at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort.
Hakuna Matata!
