    how much would a cab be from downtown disney to magic kingdom around 10am? would it drop off at the Grand Floridian for monorail or take us right to MK?

    Hi Rebecca!

        I have taken lots of Taxis to get to many destinations within Walt Disney World especially if I was short on time or needed to get somewhere like from Resort to Resort for a dining reservation.  It has been my experience that any Taxi ride that I have taken within the confines of the Walt Disney World Property has been less than $20.00 including the tip.  If you tell your Taxi driver to drop you off at the Magic Kingdom, he or she has to drop you off at the Ticket and Transportation Center and you would have to take a Monorail or Ferry from there to the Magic Kingdom entrance.  A great option would be ask your Taxi driver to drop you off at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa and then get on the Resort Monorail like you mentioned in your question.  The Magic Kingdom is the next stop on the Resort Monorail from the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa. Another option is to ask your Taxi driver to drop you off at the Contemporary Resort and then walk over to the Magic Kingdom (a 10-15 minute walk depending on how fast you walk).  Also keep in mind that there are free Disney Buses that go to all the Walt Disney Resorts from Downtown Disney.  If you did not want to spend the extra money for a Taxi, you could take Disney Transportation from Downtown Disney to the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa or the Contemporary Resort and do the same as I previously mentioned.
