I will be in Ca to visit my brother next month. Can he buy tickets as a Ca resident for me and himself?

Greetings, Cheryl, and welcome to planDisney! I love that you will be visiting your brother and want to make happy memories at the Disneyland Resort.

The California Resident offer is a great deal. However, it is only valid for California residents living within ZIP codes 90000-96199. You would need to show a valid government-issued photo ID that confirms eligible residency when first using the ticket for admission. Unfortunately, it seems like that wouldn't be an option in this case.

I know that news may come as a Bibbidi Bobbidi Bummer, Cheryl. Instead, you can check out the Offers & Discounts page to see if there are any other deals you may be able to take advantage of. If your brother gets the 3-Day Park Hopper Ticket for himself, you could consider getting a park ticket separately and going just one or two days.

Depending on your budget and the flexibility of your travel dates, you have a few options to consider. You could get a one-park-per-day ticket instead of a Park Hopper, and focus on everything the park you're visiting has to offer instead of switching between the two. The 1-day ticket price ranges from $104 to $224 (subject to change). Looking at the calendar, I see a few midweek dates priced at the lower end of that range, which could help stretch your budget. If you're looking to visit two or more dates that span a weekend, then a multiday ticket would likely be more cost-effective. Test out different options on the Disneyland website to see what might be best for you.

An afternoon at the Downtown Disney District is always a lot of fun and doesn’t require a park ticket, which is perfect if you’re looking for Disney magic without the added cost. My aunt and I recently met up there for a few hours and had a blast. Nectar Life is one of my favorite shops, with amazing soap creations that look as delicious as they smell. I always stop at Disney Home, too.

Cheryl, I hope you and your brother have an amazing visit!
