CA 1st time visitors to WDW. Family of 6; kids ages 16,14,10 & 3. We have been to Disneyland and California Adventure several times. We are on a budget, so which parks would be the best to visit? Please help! Thanks

Your family sounds similar to mine; we're an Arizona family of six with kids ages: 16,13,11 and 4.  I'm a born and raised California girl and I grew up going to Disneyland.  Here's my take:

If it's at all possible, I'd truly recommend visiting each of the four major theme parks at Walt Disney World because you'll find something unique to each of them.  That said, it's understandable if such a trip isn't feasible.  In that case, you'd get more new experiences by visiting Epcot and Animal Kingdom.  You'll find that the Magic Kingdom almost mirrors Disneyland, while many of the two of the major attractions at Hollywood Studios can be experienced at the Disneyland Resort.  Both Epcot and Animal Kingdom offer attractions and shows totally unique to Walt Disney World.  I hope that helps in your itinerary planning!

I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
