Hello Laura, welcome to planDisney!
Your magical adventure is so close! I hope you’ve started thinking about color coordinating your Mickey and Minnie ears with your outfits! That's what my wife would be doing if we had a trip planned in two weeks! I’d be setting my sights on a Mickey Bar or two!
Laura, let's get those tickets linked up and in the right hands, so they are ready for the magic to begin! First off, make sure all of your family members have a
My Disney Experience account set up. Now they will need to be connected to your My Disney Experience account. If they are not connected yet, go to “My Family & Friends” and select “Add a Guest.” From there you can follow the prompts to connect with each other by entering your family members' names and email address. They will receive an email invitation to accept your connection.
Once you get everyone connected to you, log back into your My Disney Experience account. If you need to assign the tickets to each person, follow these steps. On the far-right side near the top select “My Disney Experience”. In the drop-down menu, select “My Plans and Tickets”. Scroll down to “Park Tickets” where you’ll see a “Link Tickets” box to select. This will allow you to link the tickets to your account with an ID number.
After you have done that, or if you already have done that previously, scroll down to “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets”. Open the “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker” tab and you will find your list of tickets. It will show a “Reassign” button that will allow you to assign any family member with a valid ticket. They will then see this ticket in their My Disney Experience account!
If you want to do the connection on the
My Disney Experience mobile app, go to the three lines at the bottom of the screen, scroll to “Profile” and select “Family & Friends List”. Scroll down to “Add a Guest” and you can connect your family members to you right from your phone!
In the My Disney Experience mobile app to link the tickets, select “My Tickets & Passes". Your tickets will show up on the screen and will allow you to scroll left and right to find your tickets to reassign. After they have been reassigned, the tickets will show up in the family members My Disney Experience account!
Laura, either way, on the desktop or the mobile app, My Disney Experience will get the job done just like the mouseketools helps Mickey fix any problem he finds at the clubhouse!
Laura, if you have any additional questions in the next two weeks as you continue your planning, give us a shout here at
planDisney and we’ll help you plan your magical adventure. And don’t forget to make sure you enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
