When buying tickets, if I'm going to the parks for 7 days, and we want to do a water park for 1 day, do I have to buy 7 water and sport tickets, which are more expensive, or can I buy 6 one day tickets and add a water and sport for their premium price?

    Hiya Matthew! Welcome to planDisney!

I'm excited to hear you are planning for a Walt Disney World vacation! With everything that you need to consider, you have come to the perfect place to get answers to your questions. Let's jump right in and help you decide on the best ticket package for your stay.

When it comes time to purchase park tickets, there are a few options you will have before finalizing your purchase. It seems like you plan to visit the theme parks for six days during your stay and want to add on a water park visit for the seventh day. Here are a couple of options you have.

    • Option 1: Purchase a 6-day park ticket that allows access to One Park Per Day. Then, purchase a stand-alone Water Park ticket to visit any day during your trip.
    • Option 2: Purchase a 6-day park ticket and add the Water Park and Sports Option to this package. This will allow you to not only visit the Water Parks on multiple occasions during your stay but also other Walt Disney World fun.
If you break down the cost difference between these two options, they are nearly identical, although prices are subject to change at any time. Option 2 will provide you with much more value even if you are unable to use all of the visits allotted. You can set up a day where you visit Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park and then finish the day with a round of golf at the Winter Summerland Miniature Golf. Each of these visits will be included with the Water Parks and Sports Option if you decide to go this route.

Matthew, if you want additional help booking your tickets, you can call the Walt Disney World Resort and speak to a Cast Member. They will be happy to assist in any way possible and get you set up for a magical stay!

    Happy holidays!
