Hello, I am buying tickets for a group. I am not a Florida resident, but someone in my group is. He has a Florida ID. Will I be able to purchase his ticket for him?

    Welcome to planDisney, Carly!

Thanks so much for sending your vacation planning question our way. My panelist pals and I are happy to chat about everything Disney, so you've come to the right place. 2024 is going to be an incredible year to experience the Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to follow the Disney Parks Blog on social media to keep up with all of the latest news. My family is most excited for Princess Tiana's arrival in Magic Kingdom Park!

My parents are part-time residents of the Sunshine State, and I'm usually coordinating our family theme park visits, so I'm experienced with your situation. You are welcome to secure tickets for your entire group, but Florida Resident Tickets can only be purchased with a credit card linked to a Florida billing address. If your friend wants to take advantage of the current offers for Mickey Mouse's in-state neighbors, the easiest way to do this is for him to buy his ticket separately. He can verify his Florida residency online before his visit, so he'll be ready to start having fun in the theme parks as soon as he arrives.

I hope this is helpful, Carly. If you wish to gift your friend his admission, consider buying him a Disney Gift Card to cover the approximate ticket cost. Best wishes for making magical memories with your crew, and we can't wait to welcome you home soon!

Meet the Panelist: Betsy, Maryland

Greetings! I'm Betsy, a middle school teacher, wife, and mom of two. My family and I love to travel the world, but our best memories are those made when we're visiting Walt Disney World or Disneyland Resort. No matter how many times we visit, there is always something new to see, ride, or eat at the Disney Parks. Learn More About Betsy
