James from Victoria Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When buying tickets through the disney website will they automatically appear straightaway after purchase so I can start making fast pass reservations (within the fast pass time frames of course)? I am staying at a disney resort.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, James! I’ve got some SUPER news for you as you take charge like Mr. Incredible. Your group’s My Disney Experience accounts are a connected superhighway of plans and convenience.

If you are within your 60 day window of your already linked Disney Resort Hotel reservation check-in, as soon as you purchase and link your park tickets, you should be able to make your FastPass+ reservations. I had some hard tickets I had forgotten to link to my husband’s reservation, but upon doing so, I was able to create FastPass+ experiences for him immediately and continue my planning. You should be able to do the same, but if you have any trouble either linking your tickets (you should be able to assign them to friend and family as soon as you purchase them) or planning your FastPass+ reservations, you can call (407) 939-4357 and speak with a Cast Member.

If I can help you prep your Supermobile or plan for the Incredible Tomorrowland Expo this summer (say hi to Edna Mode for me!) please let me know. And remember, “NO CAPES!” ~ Lindsey P.
