Buying a ticket to EPCOT for a friend that will be joining us just that day. To avoid waiting at Will Call (if I give it to her as a gift), could I instead purchase the ticket and put it on my account?

Hi, Amy thanks for stopping by with such a great question. It'll be my pleasure to help such a great friend.

I would like to start by saying I need more friends like you! A day of fun at EPCOT! Personally, I could not think of a better gift and I can certainly help iron out those details. There are a couple of steps I would recommend before purchasing the ticket.

First, check the Disney Park Pass Availability Calendar to be sure park reservations are available. Secondly, I would check in with your friend and see if they already have a My Disney Experience account. If they do you can add them to your "Family and Friends" list. Once they are on your list you can assign the ticket you purchase to them for the specific day they are going to accompany you.

EPCOT is a personal favorite and I am currently planning a solo visit myself. Shhh, don't tell my wife. My mission is to get on Guardian of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This family-friendly coaster rotates 360 degrees to catch all the action while traveling through space and time.

I hope this information was helpful and please don't hesitate to visit us again at planDisney.com.

    Have a magical visit!
