Hey there, Samantha. Thanks for stopping by
planDisney with your question. I see that you have a trip planned to the
Most Magical Place on Earth coming up. I know you've got to be getting so excited.
Samanta, with your
standard base ticket and
park pass reservations you are allowed in and out priveledges all day at that particular Walt Disney World Theme Park. If you'd like to leave midday for an afternoon nap or for some fun in the Florida sun at the pool, you most certainly are able to do that. In fact, I actually do this quite a bit. I like to arrive at the Walt Disney World Theme Park I happen to be visiting about 45 minutes prior to the scheduled park opening time. This gives us a good headstart on crossing off some of our must-do's before the park tends to get crowded for the day. Then, around lunchtime, when I feel like the parks tend to be their busiest I like to head out and do something else for a while. That might be a swim, or a nap or even to one of the Walt Disney World Resort Hotels for lunch. Then, in the evening I like to head back to the theme park and finish off my must-do list. I just find the mornings and evenings are so much more enjoyable for me and my family and the wait times are much less for attractions.
If you'd like to visit multiple
Walt Disney World Theme Parks in one day, Samantha, you'd need to upgrade your standard Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket to include the park hopper option. Park hopping now starts at 2:00 p.m. each day and lasts until each park closes in the evenings.
I hope this helps, Samantha. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. Also, if you haven't already head over and check out
planDisney's new Instagram page. There you can follow along with panelists in the parks and see all of the new and up-to-date information about the Disney parks.
