I am buying a pass on August 25th. I already have tickets and reservations for the 26th. Can I have those ticket prices applied to the passes?

Hi Garry! Welcome back to planDisney.

I'm delighted to hear that you're planning to unlock the magic at Disneyland Resort by becoming a Magic Key holder!

Most Disneyland Resort theme park tickets can be upgraded to a Magic Key Pass. If your tickets are linked in the Disneyland app, you should be able to use the app to upgrade your tickets, or you may be able to do so online by logging in to your account. However, once you upgrade your tickets to a Magic Key Pass, you will need to make new Theme Park Reservations using the Magic Key Access Calendar. So, in your case, it might make sense to upgrade on the last day of your visit so your Theme Park Reservations don't need to change. Just note that if you upgrade using multi-day tickets, your Magic Key start date will be the first day you used those tickets.

Be sure to check the Magic Key Access calendar so you're aware of any blockout dates that apply to the Magic Key Pass you select.

Once you're a Magic Key holder, you can unlock all the additional benefits that come with your pass. Read the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about special pixie dust available to Magic Key Pass holders. Enjoy it all!

    Wishing you much magic,
