When buying Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween Party tickets. Is it helpful to get a flash pass? As I was looking into maybe getting one it says I have to link a ticket. Would my Mickey's not-so-scary Halloween Party ticket be enough?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Mekayla! The autumn is such a fun time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. My favorite festival, the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, is in full swing, and Magic Kingdom Park has beautiful fall decorations up because it's time to celebrate Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party!

One of the things I really love about this party is that you can often ride a lot of your favorite attractions with a shorter wait time because there are usually fewer guests in the theme park than there are during the day. Because of this, FastPass+, the service at Walt Disney World Resort that lets you reserve access to certain attractions in advance, is not offered during the party. You definitely don't need it though! In my experience, I have found that the lines at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are typically shorter than they are during the day.

If you do want to visit Walt Disney World Resort during the day, you'll be happy to know that there's no need to pay extra to make FastPass+ selections because they are included in the price of your ticket! You can make your three daily FastPass+ selections 30 days in advance, or 60 days in advance of your arrival if you're staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel. After you've used those three, you can continue to make more selections one at a time while you're in theme parks.

    Have a magical day, Mekayla!
