Greetings, Abbie!
Welcome to planDisney! Using
Lightning Lanes during your upcoming stay is a great way to save a ton of time. This is a must every time I visit The Most Magical Place on Earth. Spending less time in line means more time for snacks, character hugs, and making magical memories. I often travel with friends, and I am happy to share how credit card charges will work when you are booking for multiple people.
When booking Multi or Single Pass Lightning Lanes, your credit card will be charged for each person you select to add to the purchase. Let's use your
Rise of the Resistance example. If you are adding Single Passes for each member of your travel party to your cart, your credit card will be charged for the full amount. Once you check out, the passes will be automatically linked to each person you included in the purchase. My friends and I often use this process to ensure we all get the same return time! Each Guest could purchase passes individually, but getting the return times to match can be a bit of a challenge when you are making multiple reservations for various parks and attractions. We find it best to have one person book, and then split the charges.
Pro tip: If your entire travel party is familiar with the
My Disney Experience app and comfortable with booking Lightning Lanes, divide and conquer! When I travel with a crew, we each pick a day of the trip that we will secure Lightning Lanes. This is a major time saver, and helps secure popular attractions when minutes matter! We keep track of our purchases, and make sure everyone comes out even.
Abbie, don't forget you'll be
able to book your Lightning Lanes seven days in advance if you are a
Guest of a Disney Resort hotel (for the length of your stay). This is a great way to get a head start on planning the fun and securing those return times for popular attractions. If you are not staying at a Disney Resort, you can book three days in advance of each park visit. The booking window opens at 7 AM ET, so be sure to set your alarm!
We'll see ya real soon!
