Hi there, Veronica! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney. We just love helping fellow Guests plan their visits to the Happiest Place on Earth!
You'll be very happy to know that included in your upgrade to
Genie+ are unlimited digital downloads of ALL the
Disney PhotoPass photos you capture that day. This is truly one of my favorite perks! As the Mom in my group, I am usually the one remembering, organizing, and taking the photos of my family so I love that I can be carefree and know that these memories are being captured by the wonderful Disney PhotoPass photographers ... and I get to actually be IN the photos with my family! Of all the merchandise available, it's usually these photos that mean the most to me. I love picking up a new frame from
World of Disney and printing a favorite photo from the trip. They make the best keepsakes when I'm dreaming of our next trip to the Disneyland Resort!
I have more good news for you! When it comes to your
One Park Per Day ticket, you are able to upgrade it to a Park Hopper by visiting the Main Entrance Ticket Booths in the Esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park. One thing to note is that all Guests are required to have a theme park ticket in addition to a
theme park reservation to enter the parks. This is part of the new protocol to manage attendance. Your theme park reservation will not transfer over to your Park Hopper ticket, as each ticket type pulls from its own pool of available reservations. In the
reservation calendar, you can choose to look for availability for One Park Per Day tickets or Park Hopper tickets. I would keep an eye on the calendar as you get closer to your date to ensure reservations for Park Hoppers are still available. You can also ask the Cast Member at the ticket booth before making any changes. Since you are traveling in, you may be able to make the change ahead of time by speaking with the Cast Members in
Guest Services - sometimes they have a bit of extra pixie dust!
I'm so happy to see you will be visiting this summer! It has just been announced that fan-favorite nighttime spectaculars Fantasmic! and World of Color will be returning at some point this spring! I don't know about you, but a park day is not complete without some extra nighttime Disney magic. Find out the latest and greatest news about their exact dates of return along with any special offerings that may fall within your visit by following along with the
Disney Parks Blog.
Veronica, you are truly in for a magical time! If you have any other questions between now and your visit, feel free to
reach back out to me or any of my fellow panelists. We are always happy to help here at
planDisney!
Keep wishing on those stars,
Tara
