We are buying Florida resident tickets because we just moved to Florida but wondering how we show proof of residence We don’t have our new drivers license yet and we don’t have mail to our residence yet

    Hello Timothy,

Thank you for taking the time to stop by planDisney with your question for us. Congratulations on moving to the Sunshine State. There are plenty of Special Offers currently available at the Walt Disney World Resort for Florida residents such as discounts on park tickets and resort hotels.

While the most convenient way to show proof of residency is with a valid Florida driver’s license (must have a Florida address), valid Florida state-issued ID card (must have a Florida address), or valid Florida-based military ID, there are other alternatives available if you are unable to provide any of those. You can bring the following items showing a Florida residential address, dated within the past 2 months, along with a corresponding photo ID (driver’s license, passport, state identification card):

Proof of current mortgage (please note that deeds, mortgage contracts, mortgage payment booklets and leases are not accepted unfortunately)

    Bills, Policies or Registrations
-examples include current automobile insurance or policy; a current utility bill like water, electric, cable; or homeowners insurance policy or bill

If you happen to have mail from your financial institution such as a savings or checking account statement dated within 2 months showing your current Florida address, that will suffice as proof of residency.

You can bring your current statement or bill in print form, or show your electronic bill on your mobile device, as long as it is dated within the past 2 months with your current Florida address.

I hope this information is helpful for you, Timothy as you get ready for your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth in early March. If you have further questions, please stop by planDisney again.

    See ya real soon,
    Kiki

I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes or Disney Cruise Line voyages with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
