Oh boy! Welcome to planDisney, Cole!
We're happy to have you here — and we're even more excited to see that you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth for a vacation! WOOHOO! Don't forget your sunscreen, and be sure to check out the
Hours & Events Calendar to help you plan every moment of your upcoming adventure to Disney World!
Right now, date-based tickets do not require Theme Park Reservations. This date-based rule incudes tickets with Park Hoppers. Cole, I recommend looking at
this list to double check and make sure that the tickets you buy are not ones that require a
Theme Park Reservation. IF they do need a reservation, you will only need to make those reservations for the first park that you plan to visit each day — and that reservation can happen anytime between purchasing those tickets and starting your vacation (though I would recommend making reservations as soon as possible).
You’ll love the freedom that park hopping gives you, Cole! You’ll be able to go between as many of the parks as you’d like (subject to park capacity). My perfect park hopping day would look like this: Getting up early to visit Hollywood Studios at rope drop to ride Rise of the Resistance, Rockin’ Rollercoaster, Tower of Terror, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway, then taking the Skyliner over to EPCOT to ride Remy’s and then I would enjoy sushi in Japan, and
School Bread in Norway! I’d finish the day with a ride on Guardians of the Galaxy and a nice view of the Nighttime Spectacular!
I hope you have a wonderful trip, Cole! If you have additional questions we’d love to hear from you again!
See ya real soon,
Allyn
