Hi Jana!
Thank you for continuing to use the Disney Parks Moms Panel as a planning resource for your Walt Disney World Resort vacations - we love you too!
The Disney Dining Plan is a great way to stretch your vacation dollars, and I love the ease and convenience of having my family's meals taken care of before our vacation! My husband is a big fan of not having to reach for his wallet after every meal.
When you participate in the Dining Plan, you'll be allotted a certain number of Quick Service, Table Service, and Snack entitlements, per person, for each night of your resort stay (depending on which dining plan you choose). You're more than welcome to use those entitlements at your discretion - including purchasing meals for your "local" friends. You'll need to make sure to include those Guests when making your dining reservation, and let your server know that you want to use your entitlements to purchase their meal. You're super sweet to do that for them, and I know they will appreciate your generosity!
You'll be able to keep track of your dining credits in two ways:
1. Remaining entitlements will be printed on your dining receipts.
2. You can stop by any Guest Relations window or your Resort Concierge to check your remaining entitlements.
Easy Peasy! I hope you enjoy all of the delicious meals you'll experience when using the Disney Dining Plan. With
over 100 dining locations to choose from, you're sure to find a practically perfect restaurant for every meal!
I hope this information is helpful. Have a magical day, Jana! - Diane W.
