Other than buying the dining packages, are there any other ways ro save on buying food, are there coupons?

    Trinity:

Even though I clip coupons and take a binder of them to the grocery store with me, I don't know if you'd consider me an extreme couponer. However, I do consider myself a budget hound. Some of my favorite travel books revolve around the subject of visiting Disney on a budget. To my knowledge, there are no coupons for Disney restaurants inside the parks, per se, so don't waste your time pulling off the interstate looking for those travel brochures that might have them.

Besides ordering water at all of your meals, filling up at Club Cool, packing sandwiches for the parks, or ordering an extra bun with a double cheeseburger to make two "meals"--all of which I've done--here are a few insider tips on getting discounts on Disney Dining:

    • Disney offers the Tables in Wonderland card for Florida residents, DVC members and Annual Passholders. There is a fee for the card, but with it, you receive 20% off food and alcoholic beverages at over 100 participating locations on Disney property.
    • The Disney Visa card offers discounts at several Disney restaurants when you use it to pay for your meal. Make sure and confirm this with your waiter, as restrictions apply.
    • AAA offers a discount at a few of the restaurants at the Swan & Dolphin, including Garden Grove.
    • Many restaurants have loyalty programs associated with restaurant groups across the U.S. Rainforest Cafe and T-Rex are owned by Landry's; Wolfgang Puck's and Portobello's are owned by Levy's. A few google searches should help you sign up and give you more information on discounts and benefits.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
