We’re buying 4, 4-Day, 1-Park-Per-Day Tickets and would like lightning lane, but we do not need lightning lane for 1 of the 4 days (because it’s a travel day). What’s the best way to do this?

    Hey, Ashley!

We're so happy you stopped by planDisney with your question. It sounds like you are planning one magical visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. A 4-day visit is the perfect amount of time to enjoy all there is to see and do while also allowing some time to sit back and let the magic settle in all around you. Not to mention that you'll get to take advantage of Disneyland's 70th Anniversary festivities will which be in full swing as of May 16th!

When it comes to adding Lightning Lane Multi Pass to your tickets, this is a great question to ask, and I have good news for you. If you add Multi Pass to your multi-day tickets at the time of purchase, it would apply it to every day of your ticket. Alternatively, you can wait and add it to your tickets daily after you scan into the park each morning. While Multi Pass is subject to availability, it's usually holidays and spring breaks where you may need to worry about it selling out. The only other thing to consider is that pricing varies day to day, but it's likely worth it for the flexibility!

Right after you scan into the parks, open your Disneyland Mobile App. On the homepage, just under your character and name, you will see the option to add Lighting Lane Multi Pass, along with the pricing for the day. Tap the "Purchase" button and follow the instructions from there. With just a few taps, you should be all set to make that first Lightning Lane selection!

Don't forget that included in your Multi Pass purchase are unlimited digital downloads of all the Disney PhotoPass pictures you snap that day, so don't be shy! Hop in front of all the PhotoPass photographers to capture each and every moment! You'll also get to enjoy the PhotoPass Lenses, which you can find in the app by tapping the hamburger menu in the bottom right-hand corner and scrolling to "PhotoPass Lenses". These are fun filters and animations to make those memories even more unforgettable. Some are themed to the area of the park that you are in, so be sure to check often! We use this to pass the time when standing in attraction queues!

Ashley, I sure hope this was helpful! If you have any more questions, we'd love to see you back here at planDisney!

    Magic awaits!
