We are buying 10 day no expiration passes. My son is 9 years old and I am certain that many of the days we will buy on his ticket will not be used until age 10 and beyond. As long as he is 9 when we buy does it matter how old he is when we use them ?

    Hi William,

This is actually a very common question that many guests seem to have with a very simple answer.  You can exchange the non-expiry childs ticket for a non-expiry adult ticket at no additional charge to you (as long as you don't show up the following year with a teenager claiming he was only 9 years old the year before!!!).  What I mean by that is that the dates have to match up and make sense to the cast member when they look at your child (your child must be with you when you are making this ticket exchange as well or you will not be able to change it over to an adult ticket).  I am not saying that you are dishonest in any way, but you would be surprised at how many guests may try to "beat the system" and these rules are in place to make sure that everyone is treated fairly.

So, as long as your son is with you (bring proof of age), yes you may exchange his ticket to an adult ticket once he is over 10 years old at no extra charge by visiting any Guest Relations location at any of the Theme Parks or Downtown Disney.

    Best wishes,
