Hiya, Lauren! Welcome to planDisney!
As a fellow
Annual Passholder, I love having the flexibility to visit
Walt Disney World Resort several times throughout the year. The perks are also great to have! I love picking up the Annual Passholder magnets when our trips line up with their releases. They make phenomenal refrigerator decorations!
To answer your question, Lauren, if your daughter’s Annual Pass is already purchased and linked to her
My Disney Experience account, it will be ready to be activated upon her first visit. I reached out to a Cast Member for clarification on this topic, as activation requirements can vary depending on age and pass type.
Since you are purchasing a Florida Resident Pirate Pass,
proof of residency will be required at the time of activation. If your daughter has an acceptable form of photo ID, she may be able to activate her pass independently at
Guest Relations at a theme park or Disney Springs. If she does not have photo ID, the adult who made the purchase will need to show a valid proof of Florida residency on her behalf.
If you’d like additional confirmation based on your specific situation, I suggest reaching out to the Walt Disney World Resort
directly by phone to get the most pertinent information.
I hope this helps, Lauren! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan this and future visits, we’re always happy to help here at
planDisney!
See you real soon!
