I am buying annual passes and need to know when the start date will be for the passes?

    Hi Stacy,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  Congratulations on making the decision to purchase an Annual Pass.  I love being able to plan quick visits to Walt Disney World Resort, and my Annual Pass gives me the freedom to enjoy the Theme Parks more often.

Once you purchase your Annual Pass, and it is linked in My Disney Experience, your Pass will activate the first time you enter a Theme Park. So your start date will be the first time you use your Annual Pass at the touch points to enter one of the Theme Parks.  When you purchase your Annual Pass, you will be able to book FastPass+ Selections, and benefit from some of the Annual Passholder Walt Disney World Resort Hotel discounts if available, prior to activating your Annual Pass.
Another benefit to becoming a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder is the access to valuable discounts throughout Walt Disney World on dining, merchandise, tours and recreation.  We also receive special communication and news several times a year, meant solely for Annual Passholders.

I hope you enjoy your year of being a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder, Stacy.  I’m sure that this purchase will be the start of many years of Disney fun!  Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
