Welcome to planDisney, Izabella! We're glad you decided to stop by with your question about theme park tickets. I'm happy to help!
I've discovered that not only is it possible, but it's actually very easy to visit both
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park in one day! I usually recommend adding the Park Hopper Option when
purchasing theme park tickets for anyone considering it. While it is an upcharge, it is less expensive than buying two One Park Per Day Tickets.
I spoke with Disneyland Ticketing today, and she said that there is no policy restricting guests from buying two tickets for the same day under the same name, so you are welcome to do so; just realize that it will be more expensive. Also, if you plan to add
Disney Genie+ Service to your tickets, it will be two separate add-on fees. However, the one benefit of going this route is you won't have to wait until 1:00 PM to park hop!
Before buying your tickets, try calling
Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636, and they can go over all the available options to you. Since guests with the Park Hopper Option must choose from the Park Hopper Calendar to visit both theme parks, I am guessing you are not seeing availability for your dates. They explained that the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar is in "live time," meaning it can change minute by minute. Guests often cancel as their plans change, and occasionally, more reservations are released in batches, so keep checking if you do not see Park Hopper availability right away.
Izabella, did you know that
hugs are back at Disneyland Resort? That's right! This is an important milestone, and Mickey Mouse is ready for a big squeeze when you're there (no more air hugs or distanced selfies). You can use your
Disneyland Mobile app to
locate your favorite Disney pals. See ya real soon!
