    If I buy a tier 5 ticket and have to reschedule to a day that’s a tier 2, do I get credited the difference

    Hi Lindsey! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

    Current terms for 1-day tickets indicate that admission tickets with a required theme park reservation may be used on any date in that designated tier or lower. However, no refunds or credits are issued for using tickets on a lower-tier date. So, if you did end up visiting on a Tier 2 date, there would be no credit for using your Tier 5 ticket on that date.

    I'm sorry if that's not the magical news you were hoping for, Lindsey! The benefit of a Tier 5 ticket is you have a lot of flexibility on what day you can visit and fewer blockout dates. You won't be prevented from visiting during the festive Halloween season, for example, which is a great time to plan a trip. My must-do during Halloween at Disneyland Resort is the Haunted Mansion Holiday attraction overlay, as well as trying lots of yummy seasonal treats, which you can watch for on Disney Eats.
