If I buy tickets from WDW will they have rfid? And what is the benefit of rfid?

    Hi Michael,

Yes! All tickets sold at the Walt Disney World Resort will have RFID. RFID or radio frequency identification is technology that is used widely.

This technology is being used to help guests to update their itinerary, access FastPass+ selections and have pictures from their Memory Maker account linked to their My Disney Experience. The ticket will look like a credit or debit card and is more durable than the paper tickets.

It also allows guest to wave it to enter the parks or rides which is easier than the old tickets.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
