Hi Paul,
Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds like you have booked a vacation package to the Walt Disney World® Resort. If so, how exciting! With a
vacation package, you should be able to select the number of theme park ticket days. If you are unable to select, there may be a
Special Offer that you are using that requires a certain number of theme park ticket days. I suggest that you go back to make the reservation again and, this time, be sure to note if there is a Special Offer being applied to the reservation. If so, uncheck that selection. Then try to reserve just a vacation package without the Special Offer and you should be able to select 3-Day theme park tickets.
Of course, do some price comparisons. I always compare the price of Special Offers to the standard pricing to double-check the savings. And, I also check the price with the
Disney Resorts Collection hotel and theme park tickets booked separately. If you book the resort hotel and theme park tickets separately, you can certainly choose the number of theme park ticket days.
While checking those prices, also consider adding one of the
Disney Dining Plans. My family has enjoyed the
Disney Dining Plan. Before making a decision to add either dining plan, I always do the math, taking into consideration that the dining plan includes the resort refillable mugs and drinks with meals. When we do not use a dining plan, we typically have to pay for our drinks unless we are at character dining or special dining experiences with drinks included. So, keep that in mind.
Paul, I trust that you will get the right number of theme park ticket days added! One final tip - prior to your visit, be sure to check the dates for the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Depending on next year's dates, you may be able to see it during your visit! Stop back by if you have any additional questions. Keep up the
practically perfect planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
