Can we buy tickets at resort and have them uploaded onto keycard if we will be splitting our time at two different WDW resorts? We plan on getting magic-your-way tix for 6 days, will we have to get a new key card when we transfer resorts? Love the panel!

Hi Cynthia and fellow Hoosier!  It is obviously easiest to put your park tickets right on your resort key cards so you are not having too many things to keep track of during your vacation.  However, when you change resorts it can become just a little more complicated but still the best way to do it!

When you check into the first resort they can load your tickets to your key card and this is the card you will need to keep track of during your entire stay. When you move and transfer to the second resort you will get a new key card without the park tickets so it means now keeping track of two cards per family member.  It is suggested that one person in the family keep the park ticket key cards together making less chance for them to be lost.  If you are lucky you might find someone at the new resort who will transfer the park tickets to your new key card but it is hit or miss.  Check with the concierge desk and if the person you ask isn't aware of how to do that you can feel free to ask if there is a manager who might be able to help.  Sometimes you are lucky and sometimes you run into a dead end with this request as it isn't something that isn't often asked so depending on the experience of the cast member will depend on their ability to help you out.

Have a great vacation and let us know if we can help you out with any more of your planning questions!
