Hiya, Charles! I hope you are doing well.
So sorry to hear that a member of your party sprained their ankle. I hope they get the rest they need to recover quickly.
Although the sprained ankle has impacted your trip, I'm not going to let it rain on your Electrical Parade for one minute! Your party has two options to still enjoy all the magic available at
Disneyland Resort.
Your first option is to postpone your trip until their ankle has sufficiently healed. If your themepark tickets haven't expired, you can easily cancel your theme park reservations and book new ones online using
My Reservations. If the theme park tickets did reach their expiration date, your party can
contact Ticket Services to have your current unused tickets apply toward purchasing new theme park tickets.
The other option is to continue with your trip as originally scheduled. I find that Disneyland Resort is fantastic at accommodating Guests with temporary
mobility challenges. I once visited Disneyland Resort with a member of my party who also had an injured ankle. My friend conveniently rented a wheelchair once we arrived at Disneyland Resort, and we were all able to enjoy the resort as initially planned. Both manual and electric (ECV) wheelchairs can be
rented for the day.
Regardless of which solution you go for, I hope you and your party have an incredible time at the
Happiest Place on Earth! And don't forget to enjoy a
churro (or more!) before you head back to Arizona. Your tummy will thank you for it!
Have a magical day,
Lola
