Hi Joanne! Welcome back to planDisney. It’s nice to see you here again.
Boo to you!
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a spook-tacular event, and one of my very favorite “extras” at the Walt Disney World Resort. Whether I’m watching the Boo-to-You Halloween Parade while snacking on candy, meeting the haunts at the
Haunted Mansion, or delighting in Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular fireworks show, I always have a ghoulish grin from ear to ear.
In 2020, Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party was placed on pause as part of the
phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort. This was likely for health and safety reasons, as safe physical distancing can be difficult at the parties. Parades and nighttime spectaculars are also paused for similar reasons. We’re still eagerly awaiting a dispatch from the Headless Horseman inviting us to Mickey’s party for 2021, but we haven’t received any news at this time. Be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog, as that’s likely where the news would be shared of a comeback of this beloved event.
Because we don’t have any details about this year’s party (or whether it will happen), we don’t know what policies might be in place regarding refunds for those unable to travel. My advice would be to watch the ticket details if and when tickets become available.
I’m sorry I don’t have anything definitive for you today, Joanne. I’m sure you’re wishing upon a star that you’re able to travel soon, and I’m sending pixie dust your way that all your wishes come true. I hope we’ll see you real soon – and please come back and see us here at planDisney if you think of any more questions as you dream about your Disney days.
Wishing you a great big beautiful tomorrow,
Robyn
