Welcome to planDisney, Melanie!
Thank you for stopping by with excellent questions. It is a pleasure to assist you as you plan a Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Although
theme park tickets are nonrefundable, you may be able to modify ticket dates (
subject to the terms and conditions at the time of purchase). If your tickets end up expiring, you may still apply the value of wholly unused admission towards the purchase of tickets for a future date. Please note that all modifications are subject to availability and new charges may apply.
As you are aware, all Guests ages 3 and up must make
Disney Park Pass reservations to enter a theme park. You must have valid admission linked to your Disney account to make theme park reservations. I do not recommend making a last-minute ticket purchase because you may not find availability for the theme parks you wish to visit. We have not heard any news on future changes to Disney Park Pass reservations, so I recommend keeping an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for news and updates.
I hope this helps you while planning, Melanie! Come back to visit us if you have additional questions and be sure to check our
Panel Extras for more tips and advice!
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
